The city of SFAX, formerly SYPHAX (fortified place) among the Amazigh and TAPARURA among the Romans, rich historical heritage including the Medina of Sfax built in 849, one of the most beautiful Mediterranean Medina registered in the Tunisian National Heritage since 1912.
SFAX MARATHON INTERNATIONAL AIMS-IAAF
Since 2012 sponsor's SOPAL & ESSILOR SIVO renew their trust in the partnership with Sports Med Event's in the international promotion of Sfax Metropolis, joined by natural waters PRISTINE as official supplier of the Sfax Marathon. DIWAN FM joins Sfax Marathon International's as national media partners.
AIMS-IAAF certified the Sfax International Marathon 42,195km-26,2 MILES traces the road of sporting and entrepreneurship of Sfax excellence in Tunisia.
